It was a delightful project to illustrate and had the most variety of any animal project I have ever done and that is REALLY saying something. Everything from lions to creepy crawlies like the fellow below...

ReplyDeleteChristina, this is Kathryn Lay. I got my copies today!! I loved the illustrations I saw when the editor sent them email, but in the books, they are even more amazing. I'm so proud of these books and much of that is because of the incredible illustrations! My writer friends are amazed at how beautiful the books are done. Thank you for making my words come alive!
ReplyDeleteOh, and everyone LOVES the dog! When I signed 2 of the books at Texas Library Assoc. conference in April, the poster had that picture on it. My husband goes on and on what a great cover that is!
